What do incidents like what happened in Nindavur prove over and over again?

One of the prominent manifestations of Muslim expansionism  in the countries where the community lives as a minority or the majority has been to unleash extreme violence against non-Muslim communities and the law enforcement authorities whenever such acts are deemed by the expansionists as necessary. The resultant fear- psychosis created among the Kafirs or infidels, the way Muslims consider all non-Muslims, in turn facilitates its expansionist agenda. What we have been increasingly observing for quite some time in the Philippines, Thailand, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, the West and Sri Lanka are case in point. One of the most commonly employed forms of violence has been brutally killing the victims by hacking to death. (Hacking to death or beheading the "infidels or Kaffirs" is the standard way being followed by Muslims from Islam's inception in eliminating the former and it is widely practiced in the world over irrespective of whether the Muslims are in the majority or the minority) ). The fear- psychosis crated among other communities also helps to create "No go zones" to Kafirs among the Muslim settlements which is quite common among the Muslim settlements in the UK in particular and in the West in general. In most of such incidents violent unrests are created taking the law onto their hands by the Muslim expansionists. The public properties are damaged and other normal day today affaires are disrupted creating unruly atmosphere.      
 
What we witnessed in Nindavur yesterday (and still going on) was just a latest example of series of similar acts in action. The law enforcement authorities are prevented from entering the villages by hook or by crook. If the members of the Security Forces happen to be in civics, they are accused to have entered to the Muslim Settlements to do unlawful activities such as robberies or any other nefarious acts.  The victims are caught and severely beaten or hacked to death. Series of such incidents were reported some time back in the Grease Yaka episodes. Unarmed Sgt. Navarathna Bandara of Sri Lanka police was hacked to death in Puttalam and many army personals were severely beaten in the East and other parts of the country. In yesterday's incident few STF members were beaten and were luckily rescued by a group of their colleagues before being killed.  This applies to any other person belonging to non-Muslim ethnicities. Such cases were reported in several parts of the country during, prior and after Grease Yaka incidents. These acts will continue to happen until Sri Lanka turns into some form of "............stan" which is the ultimate goal of Muslim expansionists.

In defence of appointing military officials at Sri Lankan missions abroad …02

As I once noted, appointing of former and serving Military Officials in Sri Lanka's foreign missions have paid dividends with outstanding results.  In my previous post on the subject I pointed out how the appointment of Major General Shavendra Silva, Sri Lanka's Deputy Representative to the UN and Major General Udaya Perera then deputy high commissioner of Sri Lanka to Malaysia and now the Commander Security Forces Head Quarters in Kilinochchi   have yielded spectacular successes.
 
The latest case in point comes from Australia. As has been the case with above mentioned instances,  the appointment of a former Navy Commander Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe as the Sri Lanka's High Commissioner to Australia has paid its dividends. Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe's lobbying with the Australian Government   has yielded the latter's perfect understanding about the problem of the illegal immigration by Sri Lankans to Australia by sea. The success of the High Commissioner's efforts underscores the Austrian PM's pledge to support Sri Lanka in combatting this menace. It's true that illegal immigration has become a menace to Australia than it has been to Sri Lanka. Therefore, Austria has been doing its best to prevent it from happening by assisting the source country to strengthen its Navy and the Coast Guard. But lobbying by an ex-navy commander with Australian authorities, a highly successful one in that matter, is far effective than by doing it by a layman whose knowledge in the subject is limited. On the other hand Admiral Samarasinghe's command of the language is impressive and is indeed articulate.

The Eeelam propaganda machine is still deadly effective as eloquently displayed by David Cameron’s visit to Jaffna.

This picture eloquently tells how deadly effective Eeelam propaganda machine has been as had been during the LTTE heydays. The demise of the LTTE in Sri Lanka seems to have made no impact on it and have been strengthened in several folds. If not taken on this well oiled machine with equally deadly effectiveness, the present Sri Lankan government and the ones yet to come would succumb to the fate faced by the Sri Lankan governments during the 30 years' of Eelam War.

Imagine, the sheer scale of preparations which have gone into by carefully preserving the gun shot marks on walls of the Uthayan News-Paper Office for a considerable time even having apparently been painted the walls. The marks have clearly been left out and have been prominently marked ready to show any foreign dignitary who happen to visit Jaffna during the CHOGM. And the efforts that were put into have generously been rewarded with the foreign dignitary who happened to visit Jaffna had been none other than the British Prime Minister David Cameron. The PM visited the Uthayan Office and the rest is history!

A lot kudos for Sri Lankan High Commissioner to the UK! The right person in the right place at last!

In this video clip Dr. Chris Nonis , Sri Lankan High Commissioner to the UK giving an interview to CNN has been quite eloquent, articulate and supremely confident on what he was talking about.  It seems this has been a rare instance where a right person has been given an opportunity in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan Diplomatic Community dearly needs this type of personalities. Following is one of my posts written against the cruel treatment subjected to the animals in Sri Lanka especially the brutal manner in which the cattle are slaughtered in mass scale daily. I feel it's opportune to re-post my article in the backdrop of Ven. Bowatte Indrarathana Thera's passing away due to setting himself on fire against the cattle slaughter and some other anti-Buddhist activities perpetrated against the Buddhists in the country.            

How true! Treatment to animals in a civilization whose foundation had been laid by Buddhist philosophy was among many great things Sri Lanka was known for from time immemorial.  The colonial foothold in Sri Lanka was certainly beginning to make a negative impact in our civilization which treated animals as equally as humans. The slaughter of animals with unprecedented numbers and cruel methods used by non-Buddhists especially by colonists and the populations converted to their religions was widespread in the areas under colonial rule. Though the Buddhists continued to maintain their compassionate attitude towards animals by largely being as a relatively less flesh consuming community, the large scale slaughter happening around them and the widespread flesh eating practice made some impact among them.

The recent incident involving minister Mervyn Silva who rescued a large number of animals about to be slaughtered in Munneswaram and Western Province Governor Alavi Moulana threatening the minister to face grave consequences if he goes ahead of preventing large number of animals to be slaughtered on the eve of the Haj festival brings to the fore us to think twice about our stand on this matter especially as a nation whose foundations are largely laid by the Buddhist philosophy.

While I do not generally accept most of the rash and foolish actions by the minister Mervyn Silva nor him as a person I appreciate the initiative made by the minister though it was also not done proper manner. However, the attention created by the minister's action should be a stepping stone for all of us to join hands to start a campaign aimed at eradication of cruel and inhuman treatments towards animals.            

We should mainly pay our attention to the bloodcurdling, horrific and cruel manner in which the cattle are slaughtered in Sri Lanka. We should also certainly pay our attention the sheer number of cattle being slaughtered in a single day in Sri Lanka with terrifying treatment meted out. No sensible person with even an iota of kindness in the heart would ever dare to eat beef if he/she witnesses the cruel and horrific manner in which the poor animals are subjected to suffer while slaughtering.

At time Sri Lanka is in an important juncture with the dawning of peace after defeating terrorism and while celebrating 2600 years of Sambudhdha Jayanthi setting in motion to embark on a righteous society, it is very much pertinent to focus our search light how animals are treated especially when slaughtering, the number of animals being butchered and how we can eradicate this practices shameful to entire humanity. Then only Sri Lanka can boast again as a great nation which we were known for centuries.

Beheading of an unarmed British soldier in London by Muslim fundamentalists and hacking to death of an unarmed Police Sergeant in Puttalm by Muslim fundamentalists- many similarities between the two incidents with a glaring dissimilarity too!

The brutal murder of an unarmed police Sergeant Navarathna Bandra by hacking by Muslim fundamentalists while he was on duty in Puttalam in August in 2011 has a stark resemblance to the beheading of an unarmed British soldier Lee Rigby in London by Muslim fundamentalists a couple of days ago. There are many similarities between the two incidents with a glaring dissimilarity too. First and foremost both murders were perpetrated by fanatical Muslim fundamentalists who have become a cancer to the peaceful societies the world over.  The UK and Sri Lanka, as many other countries in the world, are paying the dear prize for their ill-conceived and short-sighted policies of tolerance and accommodativeness towards the ever growing Muslim expansionism and fundamentalism.

Unarmed police sergeant Navrathna Bandara was hacked to death in cold blood while he was begging for his life. His wife was a 09 months' old pregnant. He begged his attackers to give him a chance considering his unborn child. And also an injury in his leg made it impossible him to run for his life. But the Muslim fundamentals had no mercy in their hearts as sergeant Navarathna Bandara was a Sinhalese, an infidel.        

The British soldier was also in similar helpless situation when his attacker was mercilessly chopping him as if a "piece of meat". (Hacking to death or beheading the "infidels or Kaffirs" is the standard way being followed by Muslims from Islam's inception in eliminating the former and it is widely practiced in the world over irrespective of whether the Muslims are in the majority or the minority)  

What is then the glaring dissimilarity that I'm talking about in the two incidents? This dissimilarity is none other than the huge publicity earned by the brutal murder of Lee Rigby by the British media in particular and the world media in general. However, in a total contrast the news of brutal murder of Sergeant Navarathna Bandra was concealed as much as possible here in Sri Lanka. The identity of the perpetrators was never revealed but a few blog sites. Extra efforts had been taken to prevent it from becoming known that It was the Muslims who killed the police Sergeant. The incident was portrayed as a result of a clash between "two groups". It was after the incident became public knowledge only that a few newspapers reported the incident casually while taking extra efforts to conceal the perpetrators' identity. The protest carried out by the villagers of Sergeant Navarathna Bandra against the brutal murder received almost no publicity among the mass media.                        

Despite the fact that the UK has been paying the dear prize for turning a blind eye towards growing Muslim expansionism and fundamentalism, it tries to undo the damages it caused by producing a well-informed and enlightened public whose vigilance would certainly help them to face the dangers of Muslim expansionism and fundamentalism. However, non-Muslims in Sri Lanka continue to grope in the darkness until they are too late. Even some form of protests shown recently especially by the Buddhists who are pushed to the wall by Muslim fundamentalism are portrayed as "Ethno-religious Fascism on the part of the majority community against a beleaguered Muslim Community" by some vested interested parties and individuals.

Why do non-Muslims in Sri Lanka feel Muslim expansionism more severely than the non-Muslim populations in other countries in the region?

Situation in Sri Lanka and India: 

This can be explained taking examples of several countries belonging to different geographical regions in the world. First and foremost the overall size of the population in Sri Lanka in particular and the geographical size of our island nation in general play a big role in deciding it. Take for example our giant neighbor India, home to the second largest Muslim population in the world after Indonesia. The number of children in an average Muslim family in India is around 05 while in Sri Lanka it is around 10 to 12 in the East and 06 or 07 in other parts of the country. Given the sheer size of non-Muslim populations of India with equally the geographical size of it, the family size of the Muslims in India and their growth rate hardly make any adverse effect on other communities. However, when it comes to Sri Lanka the present growth rate of Muslims make a horrible impact given the non-Muslim families' average number of children hardly pass the number 02. And also the sheer geographical size of India hardly make any negative effect while in Sri Lanka it bears terrible consequences with non-Muslims being evicted in their traditional places of  habitations giving way to the disproportionately large exclusive Muslim enclaves as result of Muslim expansionism.

Tension among the communities has already become a reality in Sri Lanka with the land greedy Muslim community acquiring lands at an amazing rate resulting in other communities becoming almost refugees. This has become a common phenomenon in the North- East region as well which was under war for 30 years. With the conclusion of war Muslims have been settling in in the former war zones at such a rate that there have been frequent agitations by Tamils who were the owners of those lands before the war. The latter community claims that the lands owned by them are frequently seized to settle Muslims. This has been rampantly happening with a Muslim Government Minster has been totally biased towards the Muslims when settling them. There has been a simmering row going on in Mullaiveli in Mulaitivu District which I highlighted in one of my posts too. So it is plainly clear that the demographical changes that are taking placing in Sri Lanka due to Muslim population explosion have a terrible bearing on other communities.

How other countries like Singapore, Japan and Australia cope up with the problem:   

The countries which have the potential to face similar consequences like Sri Lanka have taken timely actions to prevent it from happening. A case in point is Singapore which took actions to impose a law prohibiting Muslim families not to raise more than two children going in line as same as families of other communities. Singapore would have been facing disastrous consequences given the small size in its population and the land mass in a few years, had not such a law been imposed. Had this law not been effective, the ethnic composition of Singapore which comprises Chinese and Tamils as the first and second largest communities would have had a completely different outlook with Muslims becoming the majority community in a few years. 

Take another example of Japan which never gives citizenship to Muslims immigrating to Japan from other countries. Given the small geographical size of Japan and the very slow birth rate among Japanese population, the island nation would have become a sitting duck to prey to the huge Muslim population explosion that would have been unleashed by the Muslim immigrants as they have exactly done in many European countries. 

Learning lessons from other countries Australian government has been quite strict in its immigration laws when it comes to Muslim immigrants having known well in advance the terrible consequences that Australian society would have had to face when the population explosion is unleashed by the Muslim immigrants. (Australians can't take chances given its small population size which is similar to Sri Lanka's and very law growth rate). Australia has resorted to take such sever actions despite the fact that the country is blessed with a massive land mass and being a continent. What would have obviously made Australian government to have been cautious was not to disturb the ethnic composition in the country despite the fact the availability of lands has never been a problem to them.                                

Terrible consequences that European countries are currently facing: 

Most of the European countries such as Netherlands, France, the UK, Norway, Belgium and numerous other Scandinavian countries which were lax in their immigration policies towards Muslim immigrants   are now reeling with the terrible consequences of Muslim expansionism and Fundamentalism. Muslim immigrants from Asian and African countries have unleashed such a huge population explosion that the original European inhabitants face the danger of becoming minority communities giving way to Muslims in a few decades. The very low population growth rate among their populations similar to non-Muslim ethnicities in Sri Lanka has led to the emergence of numerous far right movements in Europe solely campaigning against Muslim expansionism and Fundamentalism. So the situation that Sri Lanka faces now is similar to a certain extent what some European countries face now.

Vulnerability faced by Sri Lanka 

Sri Lanka's unique situation in demographically as well as in geographical size makes it vulnerable to face a serious imbalance in ethnic composition in a few years' time if Muslim expansionism in Sri Lanka is not checked.  By encouraging non- Muslim communities to increase the number of children in their families will aggravate problems as the Sri Lanka's land availability has been fast depleting even to accommodate present population.               

PS: The fact that Kaththankudi in Batticaloa District has been identified as having the largest population density per square Kilometer in the entire world underscores the terrible situation that Sri Lanka is in. (Population in Kaththankudi is 100% Muslims and this figure was first reported a few decades ago).      

On that “Rally” after the “Vigil”

 As I discussed in one of my previous posts, the so called "Rally for Unity" too held last 28th was organized and largely attended by none other than same "Dollar Kakkas" who did similar thing called "Candle Lit Vigil" in Tummulla some weeks ego. The photos taken during this so called "rally" tell this in style.  But this time around these "Kakkas" have done some homework having learnt lessons from the "Vigil". They have been able to bring in some notable personalities who include Professor Rajiva Weijesinhe, Dr. Dayan Jayathilaka, TNA MP M. A. Sumanthiran, Rev. Baddegama Samitha (the only Buddhist monk in the event) , UNP Parliamentarian Bakeer Marker, some Christian nuns and  a few others.

One of the prominent words found mentioning in the placards written in Sinhalese was "Vividathwaya" or  "Diversity" in English. The placards say to "Respect the Diversity". These "Vigils" and "Rallies" are organized following the restlessness and agitation seen among the Buddhists in the country as a reaction to the ever growing Muslim Fundamentalism. (This phenomenon is not confined only to Sri Lanka but other Theravada Buddhist countries such as Myanmar and Thailand too). As exactly these "Dollar Kakkas" did while the Ealam war was raging by portraying to the world the LTTE as "freedom fighters" and the "sole representative of the Tamil people" while completely turning a blind eye towards LTTE's merciless atrocities, this time around Muslim Fundamentalism is nourished by demonizing Buddhists as "Ethno-religious Fascists". The very fact that Muslim Fundamentalism annihilates the "Vividathwaya" or "Diversity" and breeds fascism is conveniently forgotten by these Kakkas. They turn a blind eye to the very fact that it was this rabid racism on the part of Muslim Fundamentalists that stimulated Buddhists in Sri Lanka to be restless.

As I said in my last post, Buddhists have been pushed to the wall. The fascism by Muslims starts from Buddhist temples and archeological places being bulldozed and turning into Mosques to the ethnic cleansing unleashed in the form of non-Muslims' traditional places of habitation being mass-populated by the huge Muslim expansion.  This is the same story in other countries such as Myanmar and Thailand.

So these "rallies" or "Vigils" are not aimed at creating "Inclusive society that protects diversity" as the placards in the "Rally" want to highlight. Rather they would nourish Muslim Fundamentalism in Sri Lanka which is viciously aimed at allegedly creating mono-ethnic Muslim enclave in Sri Lanka.            

 

Growing restlessness among Theravada Buddhist countries against Muslim Fundamentalism is due to Buddhists being pushed to the wall!

It can be observed that there has been an ever growing restlessness among Buddhist populations in countries such as Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Thailand-three countries following Theravada Buddhism. Buddhists following the Theravada Buddhist tradition is known throughout the history as the most accommodative and the least aggressive communities in the world. The level of tolerance among them is such that they even do not react to their adversaries or tormentors even if they are pushed to the wall.  Then what did make the Buddhists in those countries restless to the level even to be reactive in certain instances?

This near insane tolerance level among Theravada Buddhists has been taken for a good bloody ride by the Muslim Fundamentalists in the respective countries. The strong reactions taken by the followers of  other faiths in the world namely Hindus, Christians and Jews against Muslim Fundamentalism have checked the Fundamentalists' destructive path to a certain extent and have been making maximum effort to keep the Muslim zealots at bay at the expense of great cost to their own societies. This has resulted the least reacting societies to have been at the brunt of the receiving end by the Muslim Fundamentalists with multiplied times destructiveness being unleashed against societies such as Buddhists.  

What has been experiencing by Sri Lankan Buddhists in the forms of their temples and archeological places being bulldozed and turning into Mosques to the ethnic cleansing unleashed in the form of their traditional places of habitation being mass-populated by the huge Muslim expansion is not different to what has been happening to the Buddhists in Myanmar's western Rakhine State and the Buddhists in Southern Thailand.  The huge Muslim expansion and Fundamentalism unleashed in these South-East Asian Theravada Buddhist countries by illegal migrant Muslims have pushed the latter to the wall.

The photo taken in Myanmar tells in million words what an unfortunate state of affairs that beleaguered Buddhists have to undergo due to Muslim Fundamentalism!                                  

A classic example of how Eelam propagandist DBS. Jeyaraj is demonizing Sinhalese-Buddhists using the anti-Muslim Fundamentalism sentiments in Sri Lanka.

As I discussed in one of my previous posts, Eelam propagandist DBS. Jeyaraj (and hordes of others) has got a field day to demonize Sinhalese Buddhists making use the prevailing anti-Muslim Fundamentalism sentiments in the country.

How an incident that has taken place in Gampola in the Central Province is twisted to attack the majority community is a classic case in point to show Jeyaraj's nasty intentions.

Exploiting the situation to the hilt the heading of the article does the job with a devastating efficiency. The very fact that adding the two words "Muslim Owned" to the headline, though the incident is seemingly not ethnically related at all, the writer scores what he aims at in flying colours.                        

While claiming that it was not clear who the perpetrators were, the incident, an attack on Muslim owned shop by the owner's rival group, is portrayed using his journalistic skills as strongly connected to a work of BBS. The report carries a tone heavily blaming the BBS as a perpetrator for alleged attacks against Muslims. And then the Deputy Minister from Gampola ( a Muslim) who says that the incident isn't politically related but 100% personal is heavily criticized. The following quote from the article tells Jeyaraj's intentions in style.

"Cader Hadjiar aroused much anger when he stooped to the extent of declaring publicly that no Mosque had been attacked in Sri Lanka which was a statement totally contrary to the prevailing situation".

Here Cader Hadjiar is the Deputy Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy. In this quoted sentence "contrary to the prevailing situation" part suggests to a gullible reader who is not well informed about the prevailing true situation in Sri Lanka ( most probably to a reader living in a Western Country) that there have been spate of attacks on Mosques in Sri Lanka or to say more precisely attacking Mosques has been a daily occurrence in Sri Lanka. Has there been any incident connected to a Mosque except the incidents related to an illegal Mosque in Dambulla and building of a Mosque on the tomb of King Dutugamunu, one of the most venerated kings of the Sinhalese, some time back? Yes, a similar scenario would have prevailed in countries like India or in the USA given the fact that the sheer number of Mosques mushrooming disproportionate to the Muslim population in the country leave alone the incidents that bulldoze Buddhist temples and archaeological sites to build Mosques on them.

 (Protests by the Buddhists against Illegal construction of Mosques in Buddhist archaeological site in Kuragala and the vandalism of it by Muslim Fundamentalists are portrayed as attack against Mosques by Buddhists while sweeping under the carpet the fact that the court has given its judgment to demolish the illegal mosques on the site. While the true facts are covered up, a false and fabricated history of Muslims in the country is highlighted as exactly has been the case with Eelamists)                              

Jeyaraj says that the mainstream media is yet to report the incident. How could an incident which has taken place on 16th April (02 days back) miss by main stream media in the country if it was such a sensitive incident like Buddhists attacking a Muslim owned shop?  The incident that happened connecting to Fashion Bug a few weeks back in Piliyandala too would have faced the similar fate then.  

This is how Eelamist cum anti Sri Lankan Buddhists and pro Muslim Fundamentalism propagandists like David Buell Sabapathy Jeyaraj living in cool climes like Canada reports (and has been reporting for decades) incidents purely aimed at demonizing Buddhists in Sri Lanka.           

Who were the anti-BBS "demonstrators" in Thummullalla?

The above question is answered in style by this Video Clip.

How do members of a mass protest organized against a bunch "Ethno Religious Fascist Organization which has been terrorizing a beleaguered Muslim Minority" have their language of communication English? This demonstration was claimed to have been "a mass of Buddhists against a bunch of racist Buddhist". How can English become the language of communication among a group of average Buddhist in Sri Lanka, the vast majority of whom speak Sinhalese Language?

Besides, who is known for organizing "Candle-Lit Protests" in the country?                        

So a lot Dollars and Euros (this time around most probably Saudi Riyal and Kuwaiti Dinar too) has again started flowing in to the coffers of the so called "Defenders" of "Rights": you name it, Many Rights under the sun!  

 We will witness more these types of "protests", "demonstrators", "media-releases" etc, etc in future. Above all, the time-tested, attractive and very lucrative project of demonizing the Sinhalese Buddhists has got a breath of fresh air: a yet another very useful load ammunition for enemies of Sinhalese Buddhists in the West, in the USA and in India to attack us.  

As exactly did in strengthening the Eelamists , these Dollar Kakkas are now strengthening the Muslim Fundamentalists in Sri Lanka completely turning the blind eye towards Ethno- Religious Fascism of Muslims in Sri Lanka.  

Eelam propagandist DBS Jeyaraj is now a staunchest propagandist for the Muslim Fundamentalism in Sri Lanka.

When reading the articles by DBS Jeyaraj in recent times it is very much clear that he has invented a pretty cleaver ploy to demonize the Sinhalese Buddhists.  The protests by Sinhalese Buddhists against the ever increasing Muslim Fundamentalism in the country, after a long slumber having pushed them to the wall with no alternative left, are being portrayed as Sinhalese' supremacist behavior against a beleaguered minority: a very attractive piece of propaganda to lure enemies of Sri Lanka in the West, the USA and in India. As a typical Eelamist who misses no chance in attacking Sinhalese Buddhists when a slightest opportunity opens up, DBSJ has been relentless in his attacks against Buddhists by making use of this opportunity. He is among the first anti-Sinhalese- Buddhists writers to name Bodu Bala Sena as 'ethno religious fascist' movement by completely turning a blind eye towards the rabid 'Ethno Religious Fascism' among the Muslims in Sri Lanka.

It has long been a popular vogue among these propagandists to completely turn a blind eye towards injustices perpetrated against Buddhists while twisting the truth to fit into a story that demonizes the Sinhalese Buddhists. The latest dastardly act by Muslim Fundamentalists by setting fire to Muhudu Maha Viharaya in Potuvil in the Eastern Province will completely be ignored by DBSJ and the like and twist this newest vandalism to make a different story .

The ancient temple was several times vandalized by Muslims in the area and the lands belonging to the temple have been encroached with Muslim settlements coming up leaving only a few acres to the temple. The resident Buddhist monks were continuously intimidated and threatened forcing them to abandon the temple. Buddhists pilgrims are continuously harassed making the area a no-go-zone for them.

Similar fate hasbefallen to the Kuraga Temple in the Sabaragamua Province which has been turned into a complex of Mosques badly vandalizing the site with even pouring acids to Brahami inscriptions to erase all possible traces. So has been the case of Dambulla and Anuradhapura where Mosques have been built on the sites of Buddhist temples. In Anuradhapura one Mosque was built destroying Senavirathana Privena while the other was built on the tomb of King Dutu Gamunu. These acts of vandalism and turning Buddhist temples into Mosques are justified with a bogus history of Muslims in the country as exactly has been the case with Eelamists.       

These types of rabid fascism by Muslim Fundamentalists are never highlighted by these anti- Sinhalese- Buddhists individuals who are allegedly claimed to have been writing to highlight the 'right abuses' and 'social injustice' perpetrated against the humanity.  As far as DBS Jeyaraj is concerned it is clear that he is hell bent in grabbing every opportunity that comes up to attack Sinhalese Buddhists as he and his cohorts horribly failed in  achieving their dream of Eelam by the military means. The opposition against the Muslim Fundamentalism by Sinhalese Buddhists has become a perfect launching pad for them to start their campaign from where they stopped with the decimation of the LTTE.                  

Why is Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) enjoying an amazing popularity among its followers?

While anti-Buddhists elements have been shouting from roof tops as Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) being a 'fascist movement ', there has been a considerable degree of acceptance, even among its enemies,  to the fact that Its popularity increases day by day. At the same time the phenomenal speed with which it has become popular in a very shorter period of time has undoubtedly raised many an eye brows. One of the major factors that has bestowed such a phenomenal popularity to the BBS is the role it plays in highlighting the Muslim Fundamentalism in Sri Lanka which has been persistence for quite a long period of time. It seems the long awaited Whistle-Blowing has finally alarmed many who had been in a deep slumber without knowing the actual dangers lurking around them.

The answers to the amazing popularity enjoyed by BBS partly deal with the facts that I highlighted in my previous post. I feel it's opportune to re-produce them for greater understanding.

"(1)    Ethnic cleansing and unleashing mass scale Muslim settlements: It was entirely through violence that the LTTE carried out its ethnic cleansing programme. However, Muslim Fundamentalists do the same with much subtle ways. Two much prominent methods are as follows: The following is directly linked to the population explosion unleashed by Muslims.        

a. By settling themselves in large numbers in localities where other communities have been living for centuries. Lands and houses are bought even by paying more than the actual prices of the properties. Then disproportionately large number of Mosques are built in the vicinity with no peace in the ears of non-Muslims for five times of a day. Slaughter houses and meat stalls selling beef make an eye-sore to the primarily Buddhists and Hindu populations.  In a short period of time the original inhabitants are forced to move out from the localities in which they used to live for centuries.

b. This is done by way of powerful Muslim politicians engaging in unleashing mass scale Muslim population settlements in lands where other communities used to live. (Those communities have left their lands of inhabitation for centuries basically due to the war. I discussed a similar example in my last post). These Muslim politicians also illegally grab lands belonging to the government and lands belonging to forest reserves having being cleared them with trees.

(2)   Destruction of ancient Buddhist sites and turning them into Mosques: Muslim fundamentalist have made Eelamists a bunch of amertures in this department. Eelamists were, of course, hell bent in erasing any evidence of the existence of Sinhalese Buddhist civilization in the North and East. However, the damage they caused to the ancient Buddhist places of worship, strewn in the entire north and east of the country, is comparatively less when compared with what Muslim fundamentalist has been doing to them. This is very much prominent in the Eastern part of the country. The most preferred method resorted by the Muslim fundamentalists is to bulldoze the entire Buddhist sites, acres in size, leaving no trace at all.  I discussed this topic in many of my earlier posts.  The severity of fundamentalism among Sri Lankan Muslims is such that such temples are turned in to Mosques inflicting severe destruction to the sites by using methods such as pouring acids to Brahami rock inscriptions to erase the evidences. The best case in point is Kuragala. The newly built Mosques on these sites are then claimed to have been in existence for thousands years with some Mullah was in residence.

(3)    Inventing a bogus history of Muslims: As exactly Eelamists did, Muslim fundamentalist are busy engaged in re-writing a fabricated history of Muslims. It is very much common to hear these days the claims to the effect that Muslims have been living in Sri Lanka during the past 2500 years. After building a Mosque on the tomb of King Dutu Gamunu in Anuradhapura, one of the greatest and venerated kings among Sinhalese, it was claimed that a Mullah had been living in the place some 2500 years ago. (Please take note that both Kuragala and the tomb of King Dutu Gamunu is located outside the North-East of the island)

(4)    Promotion of Arabic language and turning existing Mosques into structures many times larger than they used to be: It has become a common scene throughout the country that existing Mosques are turned into many times larger making them massive and imposing structures. This is done even in places where the Muslim population concentration is smaller.  This disproportionality in terms of the number of Mosques built against the population and their new massive outlook make one wonder what the fundamentalists are up to.  It has also become a common scene that name boards in Muslim areas are fast becoming in Arabic language. Names boards from street names to Schools are fast becoming Arabic. Muslim fundamentalist have resorted to make use of the Language too which is one of the most effective methods in imposing of an alien culture to a society which they consider as 'infidels'.

 (5)    Propaganda Machine: The propaganda machinery of Eelamists used to be and still is legendry.  But it can clearly been observed that Muslim Fundamentalists' propaganda machine has evolved into a truly awesome proportions. Eelamists were not much good at doing the propaganda in Sinhalese language except through some paid individuals and by ant-Sri Lanka sections like NGOs. But the propaganda in Sinhalese language by Muslim fundamentalist is carried out with an awesome effectiveness and efficiency.  The best case in point is a Buddhist converted to Islam named Anver Manathunga whose blog site which is engaged in disseminating Muslim fundamentalism to Sinhalese readers. There are many other similar sites being lavishly funded by Muslim fundamentalists.
 
The above discussed are the most prominent and glaring instances in which Muslim fundamentalist have resorted to make Sri Lanka mono-ethnic Muslim enclave. There are many other ways such as Halal certification aimed at finding a source of funds to reach this goal. Some of the methods are so subtle that they are hardly noticed by the gullible public."

The methods being followed by Muslim Fundamentalists to further their agendas are more smarter and brutal than the methods the separatist Eelamists used to make use to engage in terrorism in Sri Lanka

Adverse consequences of Muslim fundamentalism not confined only to Buddhists in Sri Lanka!

At a time Buddhists in Sri Lanka have finally been rudely awaken from their deep slumber by incessant and increasingly threatening Muslim fundamentalism and population explosion, other communities in the country seem to have not been bothered by this catastrophe fast unfolding under their very noses which would soon threaten their very survival. Census statics recently released show disturbing demographic changes that are taking place in the country with Muslim population explosion being the most alarming factor.

 But the real catastrophically disturbing statistics are yet to be released. They are withheld by the authorities due to the political pressure. Rural people in Sri Lanka have increasingly been experiencing these changes over the years in the form of their traditional hamlets and small- rustic towns being flooded by Muslim populations. It has become a common phenomenon in the country that increasing number of livable plot of lands in the rural Sri Lanka being acquired by the Muslims.  Equally disturbing is the fast disappearing peacefulness to their ears that they enjoyed for centuries. The sheer noise that emanates for five times a day by disproportionately number of Mosques built in the localities that Muslims have 'invaded' makes the simple villagers' life miserable often resulting in the original inhabitants of the villages being forced to move out from their villages.

 

A disturbing case in point, among thousands, is reported from the Mullaitivu district. This particular location is Mullaivali. A few years after conclusion of war a surprising and disturbing upsurge of Muslim population is reported in this locality which used to be vastly predominated by Tamil community. With the intensification of war , around the year 2000, all the Muslim families numbering 75 fled the area and had been staying in Puttalam District. However, a few years into the conclusion of the war, to the utter dismay of the Tamil population in the area, about 565 Muslim families have settled in the area making Mullaivali almost look like a Muslim predominant area. Muslims shops are coming up every other day both sides of the road with Mosques mushrooming in the area. The face of Mullaivali is fast changing day by day which will soon become a Muslim area.

This is a quite common occurrence happening in every part of the country. This is many times severe in the areas where Buddhists are the predominant community as their accommodative and passive attitudes are exploited to their maximum benefit by Muslim fundamentalists.
